The Japanese term "bonsai" means "planted in a pot." A bonsai is a living work of art—a perfect miniature plant, identical in every way to its full-sized counterpart, but many times smaller.

The board game Bonsai gives you the opportunity to become expert bonsai masters aiming to grow your own plants. Whoever succeeds in growing the best plant will be chosen to exhibit it in the Imperial Garden! On your turn, you will have two options: to meditate or to cultivate. If you meditate, you will have the chance to acquire new techniques and plants; if you choose to cultivate, you will have the opportunity to apply your acquired knowledge and grow your plants. Can you prove that your bonsai skills are superior to those of the other players to be rewarded and declared the winner?
