It is the age of enlightenment. Emerging from the Dark Ages, four kingdoms find themselves locked in a struggle for dominance, blinded by their own rapid progress. Each yearns for perfection and glory, but who will manage to reach the very top? Two kingdoms are led by frail mortals, caught between the desire to amass power and the need to win the favor of the Church. The third kingdom is ruled by a secret cultist who has already succumbed to temptation, while the fourth kingdom is ruled by the Devil himself! To win, you need fortune; for the Devil to win, he needs pieces of your souls. Will you strike a deal with him?
The board game Deal with the Devil assigns each player the role of a ruler in one of the four kingdoms vying for power. Players will trade with one another, exchanging resources for money. Simultaneously, the Devil will attempt to bribe mortals for a piece of their soul, while the cultist is more than happy to trade their soul for wealth. However, all of these exchanges take place without the other players' knowledge—in fact, only the app knows who is trading with whom. It is up to you to be cautious and not show the others how well you are doing, so as not to attract unnecessary attention and draw wrath upon yourself and your kingdom! Choose your role and make the best possible decisions to perhaps even outsmart the Devil himself and win the game!
