Climate change and its effect of rising sea temperatures are devastating the colorful algae that give coral reefs their brilliant hues, resulting in coral bleaching. Furthermore, other threats like pollution—in its various insidious forms—and overfishing are disrupting the delicate balance of reef ecosystems. Now it's time for action! In the board game Reef Project, you take on the role of a scientist and savior of the oceans. Your assignment is to take command of a scientific vessel and embark on a journey of reef conservation. You must hire the best crew, clean the ocean of pollution, and restore the reefs to their former glory!
During the game, you'll sail the seas, recruit crew members, explore coral reefs, clean ocean sectors of pollution, and try to accomplish as many missions as possible. Every move you make is crucial for the survival of the marine ecosystem!
During their turn, players may choose to RECHARGE or TRAVEL:

• RECHARGE: If you Recharge, you gain rewards from the VP track, carefully planning your future actions.
• TRAVEL: If you Travel, you may deploy Reef Balls (structures for reef restoration), move your Ship, play Mission cards, and perform various actions to directly impact restoration.
