This standalone game picks up where its predecessor The Fellowship of the Ring left off, covering chapters 19 through 36. While it is ideal to play them in sequence to experience the full weight of the story, you can play the chapters in any order. In each chapter, each of you takes on a different character role. To successfully pass the chapter and advance in the story, you must meet specific conditions unique to your hero. The One Ring is the game’s only trump card, but its power is subtle—rings cannot be led until someone plays one off-suit.
