The taverns of Tiefenthal have never been fuller! Business is booming like never before, and all the bartenders are competing to offer their guests the best possible experience in the form of drinks. Constant investments are being made into new ways to earn Thalers and sell even more beer (if that's even possible). Nobles are seeking lodging and food—and they are prepared to spend a hefty sum of money. And it’s not just beer that the guests are after: a sommelier has settled in the village, bringing a stash of fine wines with him. Just make sure that all your hard work doesn't clash with the mayor’s tourism efforts!
The Taverns of Tiefenthal: Open Doors is an expansion for the board game The Taverns of Tiefenthal. This expansion introduces four additional modules to the base game, allowing players to vary the difficulty and mechanics of the match.
Open Doors also gives players the option to add a wine cellar and/or a guest room to their tavern, enabling them to offer more hospitality services to their diverse visitors. The expansion also comes with two new characters: the Innkeeper and the Mayor. While the Innkeeper allows players to gain access to specific skills that can shift their strategy, the Mayor rewards players who help him develop the town into a better tourist destination.
